Announcement to Run for City Council in 2020

In the spring of 2016 I was elected to City Council and continued my service to Collier and the City of Naples. Service is a privilege and it was an honor to be elected and have a direct opportunity to join others in governing the City of Naples.

Prior to my election I stated the following; “I need to listen to the citizens of Naples and hear their vision of what their City should look and feel like. I need to do my part to ensure that our families are protected and feel safe. I need to be certain that when my first term is completed that the City of Naples has benefited from my service.“

I served on the Baker Park Foundation Board when elected but stepped off the Board when I was sworn into office to make certain that there was no perceived conflict. My enthusiasm however to see the park completed has been maintained. I have worked in collaboration with others to ensure that the Baker Park was yet another gem in Naples. With the recent opening of the first phase of our park it has already been a source of pleasure for our community and visitors to enjoy.

I along with you look forward to its completion so we can take full advantage of the outdoor space. This park will continue to be a gathering place for generations to come.
